Central Ohio social enterprise has the bright idea that youth-focused businesses can move futures forward.
Client: Hire Level is a parent organization that leverages a portfolio of local business ventures to positively impact their community. Their platform starts local businesses like car lots, cafés, print shops, etc. specifically to offer employment, vocational training and mentorship opportunities to teens. The businesses partner with local youth programs (like Youth for Christ) whose proceeds go directly to build local businesses, employ underprivileged teens and strengthen community programming.
Case: The Hire Level team needed a multi-tiered brand system that would both promote their mission and their products to their target markets AND provide a cobranding template for future business ventures. They posed a unique challenge: with multiple businesses (all with different objectives), they needed a comprehensive brand structure that would meet their marketing needs today and maintain relevance into the future. The brand needed to professionally reflect their entrepreneurial enterprises, and reflect the youth-oriented elements of their philanthropic mission.
Result: We were able to leverage the organization’s ‘youth-centric’ focus to create a clean, energetic look and feel for the brand identity and collateral. We used the upward pointing rhombus in the Hire Level logo ‘stairs’ to create a modular brand system that provided a consistent platform for each business venture. The vibrant color palette, fresh photography (and contrasting photo treatment) and modern infographics supported the theme of upward movement, direction and identity. That brand look was then rolled out across a variety of marketing channels leveraging print and digital collateral to promote the individual endeavors of each Hire Level business subset.
